Car Accidents
What you need to know about car accidents

Here in Central Florida, auto accidents are far too common. The Orlando Injury Law Firm has years of experience and success handling car accident cases. If you’ve been injured in a car accident it can be an extremely stressful event. The pain and suffering that goes along with your injuries, the medical bills piling up, lost wages, and not knowing if you’ll be able to recover compensation from the insurance company can only add to the stress.

It’s important if you have an accident claim that you consult with an injury attorney as soon as possible, even if you think you may be at fault for the accident. Here at our firm, we offer free consultations to all of our clients on all personal injury cases.

Next, it’s important that if you’ve been involved in an accident you seek medical treatment as soon as possible. Florida is a No-Fault State, which means to be a licensed driver you must carry a minimum of $10,000 in PIP (personal injury protection) coverage. PIP insurance will cover 80% of your medical bills up to $10,000. Recently, the Florida legislature changed the PIP law to require car accident victims to seek treatment with 14 days of the accident to have access to their full benefits. If you fail to seek treatment with the 14 days you could risk losing access to your full PIP benefits.

Finally, the most important thing to do after a car accident is sustained treatment with a medical professional. Insurance companies are emotionless. They don’t care that you’re suffering. They don’t care that you can’t work. They don’t care if you are unable to make ends meet because of the negligence of their insured. All they care about is paying you the least amount of money possible for your injuries. The number one excuse an insurance will state for not giving you the compensation you deserve is by pointing out gaps in your treatment or inconsistent treatment. They point this out to say, “if John is so hurt, why didn’t he go to the doctor?”

We would love a chance to represent you and take on the insurance companies, we live for it. If you’ve been injured or have a wrongful death case due to a loved one passing, we have experienced Orlando car accident lawyers waiting to take your call.

It’s not required by law that you hire a car accident lawyer if you’ve been injured in a car wreck.  However, an experienced car accident attorney can protect your interest and help you navigate the various laws and statutes that govern car accidents in Florida.  In most cases, an insurance company is representing the person who caused your injuries.  The insurance company’s goal is not to give you what you deserve or what’s fair, their goal is to pay you as little money as they possibly can.  Our firm takes the fight to the insurance companies and is dedicated to making them pay you every cent you’re entitled to.

Most car accident attorneys work under what’s called a “contingency fee agreement”.  This means that the attorney will only take a fee, if and when, the case is resolved.  Our firm charges 33.33% for all car accident cases that our settled pre-suit, and 40% if a lawsuit is filed.

Yes, our firm provides a completely contactless consultation and sign up.
