The Orlando Injury Law Firm is located in Orlando, Florida and focuses primarily on personal injury law. We are dedicated to fighting for auto accident victims and other injured plaintiffs when they need us the most. If you’ve been injured and need legal advice our experienced Orlando personal injury lawyers are here to help you with your injury case.
It’s our belief that when you hire an attorney you should actually get to speak to your attorney whenever you need them. Large mega firms like you see on TV, sometimes refereed to as “mills”, primarily use case managers to oversee your case and you’re lucky if you get to speak to attorney once or twice. THIS IS WRONG.. Not only does it show a lack of empathy for your suffering, it can affect the value of the case. If the case is not being properly handled by a licensed attorney, things can get missed and overlooked. Here at Orlando Injury, we know your name by heart, we recognized your voice when you call on the phone, and you can reach your attorney anytime you want. That’s how it is at Orlando Injury because that’s how it should be.
When you first contact us, an attorney, not an intake technician, will provide you with a free case review. The attorney will provide you with their opinion on the merits of your case and whether our firm can assist. Our attorneys can provide consultation on a variety of cases such as car accidents, truck accidents, medical malpractice, workers compensation, wrongful death, and many other types of injury cases.
After you’ve signed up with our firm, we begin the investigation. The investigation includes gathering evidence such as car accident reports, witness statements, surveillance footage, and defendant insurance information.
While we conduct our investigation, it’s your job to treat and begin the healing process. Treatment time varies from case to case. Depending on the severity of the injury, it can take anywhere from a few months to a few years for your injuries to fully resolve.
After your treatment comes to an end or your doctor has designated that you’ve reached maximum medical improvement (MMI) we will submit a demand to the insurance company. The demand includes all of the damages we are claiming, both physical and financial, as a result of the accident. If we are unable to come to an agreement on the value of the case, then our attorneys, with your permission, will file a lawsuit.
After discussing the issues associated with litigation and receiving your permission to begin, we will file a complaint against the defendant or defendants in your case. We, along with defense counsel, will conduct discovery. This includes the submitting of record subpoenas and conducting depositions. We will eventually be given a trial date where both sides will present their arguments to a jury and then they will decide the final outcome of the case.
